Prophetic Encounter

At the end of last year, I felt a pull in my spirit to get ready for the next level. I heard so many sermons on getting ready last year that I actually thought I was prepared. As a leader, you think you can always see the full picture, but sometimes, you only see a glimpse. I prayed, fasted and thought my spirit, soul and body were ready for 2020, and there’s nothing the devil can do about it. Does that sound familiar? I came to work motivated, dedicated and ready for this new journey, and when I walked into the office, I was met with my first challenge―movement. I was challenged with moving into a new position and new policy, and I didn’t see it coming. The request came so fast that I had to stop and catch my breath. What in the world was going on? I know I heard the word “prepare,” but I didn’t think it would be at my job. We sometimes limit the prophecies.
